Kelsie bought a stuffy toy in Taipei. It is a porcupine (箭豬). Since it has needles on its body, Kelsie names it 小吉吉 - Little Lucky.

What a good lucky name !

It was Queenie's first time in ballet suit. So lovely ! She acted as a little ballet dancer turning around on a music box.

Uncle Owl - check you up

Today, when we were on LCR from Wetland Park to Yuen Long, Queenie did not want to take a nap although she was quite tired. Mum recalled that when she were a little girl, she did not want to go to bed though it was time to do so. And Mum made up "Uncle Owl's Story". Queenie said she still can remembers it, she said, "You always said Uncle Owl was on 9/F now, he would be on our floor (11/F) very soon, scared me to close my eyes."

Below is a funny conversation between Mommy and Kwan Yee (extracted from an email between QK Mommy and Auntie Dilys in Nov 2001).

Background:

Mommy told Kwan Yee that Uncle Owl will check all babies at 10:00 pm to see who have not slept yet. If he finds a naughty baby who has not slept, he will give her a "cross (X)". Of course, Little Queenie does not like a cross.

On Nov 30, 2001 at 10:00 am, Kwan Yee still has not slept and was in toilet, having her v v.

Mommy : "Kwan Yee, you got a problem, It is 10 O'clock now and you has not slept. Uncle Owl has given you a cross..(A sad face appears)... OK, if Kwan Yee's diaper is dry tommorrow morning, Mommy would tell Uncle Owl to delete the cross and give Kwan Yee a tick."

Kwan Yee : "Uncle Owl will be sleeping tomorrow morning, how can you tell him."

Mommy : "Then, I call him now to tell him to delete the cross."

Kwan Yee : "He is not at home now" (and she laughs ... )

Mommy, "I can call his mobile phone, Uncle Owl has mobile phone like your Daddy."

Kwan Yee then smiled sweetly.

Note : QK Mommy can still remember those sweet moments with Little Queenie in her bed. Sometimes, Mommy fell into sleep faster than her. It is very DIFFICULT to pat babies to sleep.

買小金魚

今天，爸爸、媽媽帶我和姐姐到深井吃了一餐很飽很飽的晚飯。吃完後，我們的到了荃灣一間金魚店，買了兩尾金。一尾是敏捷的，一尾是胖胖的。

君禧很大叫：

「媽咪，我好憎D蜘蛛呀！佢又係窗枱起咗個蜘蛛網，好恐怖呀！」

「佢仲攪到我棵一串紅好多蜘蛛絲。」

「如果俾我見到佢，我一定殺死佢！」

她一輪嘴不停地鬧，媽咪可以想像到她的面部表情。

而君怡家姐就在後面配音不停地朗讀急口令

媽咪翻看舊相片，感慨萬千。

兩個女兒實在長大得太快了。看見她們的稚氣面容，真的想「咇」她們臉蛋，親親她們的BB臉。

其中一張相片，攝於2004年8月，適逢奧運會，當日在公公婆婆家吃晚飯，大家玩「吃飯鬥快」比賽，結果小君禧贏了，得到她的第一面金牌。Hurray !

媽媽周記：孩子，請包容我們老了……

孩子，當有一天，父母變得囉囉嗦嗦時，請別忘記你們如何要求過我們一遍遍朗讀童話故事，一首首唱?兒童歌謠？

如果有一天，父母的記性變得差的話，請多多提醒，因為我們也不斷提點你們記得帶手冊、帶筆盒、帶功課。

當有一天，父母連自己吃飯的能力都沒有時，請包容我們，因為我們花了多少時間去教你們使用筷子，並一次又一次把掉在地上的食物拾起？

如果有一天，父母不懂得穿衣服時，請幫一幫我們，因為我們的骨頭變得僵硬了，雙手也沒法屈曲起來。還記得父母是如何小心翼翼幫忙穿衣服，生怕弄痛你們？

如果有一天，父母走路跌跌碰碰的話，請給予多一點耐性，慢慢扶著我們走，因為當你們學走路時，父母從不鬆懈牽?你們的手，一步一步向前走。

孩子啊！當有一天，父母連自行如廁的能力也欠缺時，請別埋怨，也別苦惱，把我們交託別人照顧吧，因為父母想保留唯一的尊嚴，在你們心中留下美好的回憶。

願天下的孩子永遠孝順父母。

媽咪放工立刻回家與女兒一起收看電視，見證這20080808重要日子。

君怡找出她那片「080808中國加油」貼紙，把它貼在電視框上，君禧抱出五仔福娃－「貝、晶、歡、迎、妮」放在鋼琴上，各人手握自製奧運旗，揮揮着一起倒數：「5、4、3、2、1」

奧運會開幕禮很精采，但中段也有一點點冷場，兩個小鬼又跑回房間看 You Tube 上的「至NET奇兵」卡通，看得哈哈大笑。媽咪真的 Question Mark ?

君禧遇上不明白的東西時，就會回應道：「問號」，再加上手勢－一隻手指在頭頂上零空畫問號，VERY CUTE。家姐也學了她。

君禧的生日禮物 - LEGO屋

奧運在倒數，君禧也在倒數她的十月生日，她計算過還有63日，媽咪提議不如像港鐵香港站做個倒數牌。「好啊！好啊！」

原來星姨媽預早買了一副新Lego 玩具給她作生日禮物。

星姨媽說君禧很愛玩Lego砌屋，而且十分有耐性又有創意。媽咪問她要不要帶Lego回家玩，她很淡定地說：「唔駛啦！係婆婆屋企玩就得啦！你又唔俾帶返屋企 …」〔又拋個Ball俾媽咪〕

媽媽：「如果你肯唔要一D舊玩具，我就俾你帶Lego返屋企，好唔好？」

君禧：「……」

媽媽：「你唸下先啦！」

媽媽很想清理女兒很少玩的玩具，但每逢要收拾時，她們就不捨得，「我哋得閒會玩架。」

閱讀樂趣多 - Magic Tree House

去年Auntie Rosita 介紹媽咪一套益智圖書 -- Magic Tree House 「神奇樹屋」，她說書裡的主角Jack 和Annie兩兄妹的時空穿梭的冒險旅程內容豐富，她的兒子看得津津有味。於是，媽咪也試一試這套書可否吸引到女兒的閱讀興趣。

很幸運地，媽咪發現香港公共圖書館藏有這套圖書，還是中英本，媽咪借了給君怡看，她用上一個小時便可看完一本；去年升四年級的暑假假期，她看完了第一輯合共 12 本。媽咪十分高興啊！

這個暑假，圖書館又添置了更多Magic Tree House 系列圖書，我們有次到圖書館「大搜查」，意料之外，又找到一些新上架的首輪圖書，開心死人啦！兩個女兒很滿足地抱着它們回家 … …

君怡開始嘗試看英文本，她發現原來中英不是直接翻釋的，很有趣。

Kelsie and Mommy found these Butterfly pattern mosaic on an exterior wall of a school in Cheung Chau. They are so beautiful and creative. Among them, Kelsie and Mommy picked these two patterns.

It looks like a bee but you can find fans and a fish on it too. Very Japanese style !

君怡 0724 (Part 2) - 向東涌出發

昨天接了女兒回家，先來個電影欣賞預祝活動，君怡對「功夫熊貓」片中的飛虎女最鐘情，皆因她也是老虎女，Wooroh ！

早上媽咪調較了鬧鐘，準時親親KISS KISS仍睡得很香甜的十歲君怡妹，君怡妹「扮」好舒服繼續進入夢鄉 ….

「瞓醒啦！瞓醒啦！」媽咪人肉鬧鐘再響：「要起身去玩啦！」一家人浩浩蕩蕩向東涌出發。

首先我們到Novotel Citygate Hotel 食自助餐，那個Buffet Bar 品種不太多，但有兩個女兒最愛的三文魚、壽司、朱古力甜品、水果布丁等等，已經很豐富了。吃飽飽後，君怡帶君禧去找雪糕，找來找去，原來要侍應生serve 的，每人拿到一杯雪糕，立刻向爸爸媽媽示意－「笑咪咪」加「V 手勢 YEAH」。我們享受了一頓自很滿足的助餐。結帳不過$500，給爸爸一個驚喜！Not dear !

天公造美，今天天氣晴空萬里，能見度極高，在昂平360纜車上更可遠眺深圳風光。多謝上天的恩賜，送給我們美好的一天。
